Yellowstone Wildlife Watching 2024

October 28th - November 1st, 2024

Overview

Join us for a week long spectacular adventure in the world’s oldest national park – Yellowstone National Park! Our Yellowstone Wildlife Watching 2024 will let us focus on the amazing wildlife which inhabit the park as they prepare for the end of the year. The bears will be making arrangements for hibernation, the elks will be wrapping up their rut and the wolves will be getting excited for the frost of winter. How many different animals can you spot in 1 week? Find out this October!

Of course, we will take in other wonders of the park, including some of its iconic geothermal features. Each day we’ll enjoy picnic lunches inside Yellowstone so we can continue experiencing the park all day long. Also, we will have some opportunities to enjoy small, non strenuous hikes, which will enhance our viewing.

If you’re ready to immerse yourself in our nation’s beauty and one of its most magnificent national parks, grab your binoculars and camera and get ready to join us for our Yellowstone Wildlife Watching 2024 Adventures for All!

Yellowstone Wildlife Watching Itinerary

Fly into Bozeman, MT (BZN) and you’ll be picked up at the airport at 2:00 p.m. On the way to our lodging in Gardiner, MT, you’ll have the chance to make a quick stop at a local grocery store to grab essentials, if needed. Once we check into the home we’ll be staying in, we can take a ride into Yellowstone National Park, if time permits. Before retiring to our rooms for the evening, we’ll go over the week’s exciting itinerary.

We’ll have three full days to watch the many diverse wildlife species of Yellowstone. Our adventures will keep us in the park from early morning until dark, including picnic lunches. As a 30+ year lover of Yellowstone, we’ll hit up some of David’s favorite spots. To enhance our viewing, we’ll take a couple small, non strenuous hikes and visit some of the park’s iconic geothermal features. We’ll even get in some history lessons, but keep in mind this trip is very focused on witnessing wildlife. Be sure to bring your binoculars and cameras!

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. If the group is up for it, we’ll have one more chance for an early morning pass in the park. After cleaning up our home lodge, we’ll head to the airport. Please do not book a return flight before 11:30 a.m.

Note on Itinerary:

Although we do our very best to adhere to the schedule listed above, this itinerary is subject to change, for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and trail conditions.
